Bending tensile test of the tube

Test Equipment: Bending tensile test machine

Test Method: Fix one end of the hose to the cylinder of bending test machine, and fix heavy substance to the other end of the hose. For all-plastic hoses, heavy substance’s weight is 2268 ± 28 g(the heavy weight of steel rebar hose is 4536±28 g).In the clamping process, avoid occurring the fracture phenomena of the hose. After that begin bending tensile test for reciprocating at a 36±1r/min speed, finish the test till fracture appears or to the fixed endpoint. Fracture circumstances can be reinforcing ribs breaking, hose tearing, perforating or the lining of the hose or liner damage to the circle, or above mixing circumstances. Record broken time for the first time or the cycle times when to the fixed endpoint, fracture type, ambient temperature, sample descriptions and the number of test samples.

 

Wear test of the outer surface of the tube

Test Equipment: Wear test machine

Test Method: Fix a new standard 500 grit sand paper to the cylinder of wear test equipment, and then install one end to mechanical shaft of the equipment, put the other end into guide frame hanging heavy substance weighing 454±3 g, after that begin the reciprocating friction testing at a 20±1r/min speed. Avoid swing of the heavy substance during testing process. The test finishes until hose appears perforation, frazzle or to the fixed endpoint. Record broken time for the first time or the cycle times when to the fixed endpoint, fracture type, ambient temperature, sample descriptions and the number of test samples.
